Electrician in Woodford
Woodford is just south of Buckhurst Hill along the edge of Epping Forest, taking in Woodford Green, Woodford Wells, Woodford Bridge and South Woodford. We are close enough to cover the whole of IG8 and E18 for emergency callouts, as well as rewires, fuse boards, EV chargers and smaller jobs.
Homes in Woodford
Woodford is a place of solid family houses: Victorian and Edwardian homes around the green and on the older roads, large interwar semis and detached houses, and flats and conversions nearer South Woodford. Many have been extended at the back or into the loft, sometimes more than once, with the electrics added to each time. That can leave a consumer unit with no spare ways and circuits that are hard to identify, which becomes a problem the moment you want an EV charger on the drive or another extension.
London Borough of Redbridge. Postcodes IG8, E18.
Tripping and power loss
Emergency fault finding when an RCD will not reset or part of the house goes dead, especially after building work.
Kitchen rewiring
New circuits for cookers, hobs and appliances when a kitchen is refitted, tested and certified on completion.
Consumer unit replacements
Full or outdated fuse boards swapped for modern units with room for extensions, chargers and future circuits.
Extension first and second fix
Wiring new extensions while walls are open, then fitting sockets, switches and lights once the plastering is done.
