Electrician in Walthamstow
Walthamstow is a short drive south-west of Buckhurst Hill, past Woodford. We work right across E17, from the older houses of Walthamstow Village to the long terraced streets either side of the High Street, and our emergency callout service covers the whole area.
Homes in Walthamstow
Much of Walthamstow is Victorian and Edwardian terraces, many built around the turn of the twentieth century, and many are now split into flats or let to tenants. Plenty of these houses have been rewired at some point, but often in stages, and flat conversions can have awkward layouts with meters, boards and circuits that are hard to trace. Loft conversions and kitchen extensions add load to older installations. For private landlords, an EICR at least every five years is a legal requirement, and it can be the first time anyone has looked properly at the whole installation.
